CircumNavigArts: Initiating dialogue through music and arts, joining youth and ultures, backing creativity!
Partner countries: any interested cultural association made up by youth and outh organisations/youth centres in Europe – EU member tates and Partner countries in Europe, Africa, Latin America

Total duration of the project: 12 months (November 2008 – October 2009)

Potential beneficiaries: Any youth in the age 13 – 25 (exceptionally up to 30) for the international youth exchange, from partner countries –associations involved;Youth workers (no age limits) from the associations involved,for the Training initiatives, networking actions and seminars –exchange of good practices and lessons learned working with
youth and intercultural dialogue using Arts.

2. Project activities
Phase 1: Build an “informal” partnership among associations working with youth, promoting intercultural dialogue focusing on youth expression and creativity through music, theatre, radio,arts in general. The partnership initiate a dialogue among youth leaders/workers using the net(emails, chat, videoconference);
Phase 2: Carrying our of a Preliminary visit – meeting, in Asti, gathering those leaders, to officially back the partnership establishment and plan the various project initiatives in details;
Phase 3: Carrying out of Training workshops dedicated to Youth Workers, focusing onHOW TO INITIATE AND SUSTAIN INTERETHNIC and INTERRELIGIOUS DIALOGUE USING THE “world of the arts” – in Asti;
Phase 4: Promotion of LOCAL initiatives/preparation of Performances, involving young “artists”, focused on the project themes and priority, in the various partner countries;
Phase 5: Organisation of an INTERNATIONAL YOUTH EXCHANGE, in Asti – the performances prepared by the various group in their own countries are “shared” with partner arts’ groups and “contaminations” invade the “shows” (people mix and young artist form “intercultural” groups) and a Public Seminar is organised, inviting local institutions, to present the project and the themes. A LIVE EVENT ends the exchange and involve the local community.
