20 people from 8 different countries and 11 different organisation are spending 6 intensive days in Casa degli Alfieri to work on

SUSTAINED DIALOGUE THROUGH PERFORMING ARTS!

We just finished the Apv (Advance PLanning visit) and we’re full of energy, ideas, and projects.. the partner are ready to start this adventure together and we wish to all of us good luck and good work!

We talked and we spoke a lot about them, about our collaboration and partnership and now we are going to meet them.

From the 27 of february to the 1st of march the partners of  VedoGiovane Asti in the CircumNavigarti project will be in Asti for the advanced preparatory visit; this huge group of partners is composed by Germany, Hungary, Spain, Portugal, Lituania, Cyprus, Sweden and Italy.

The aim of these days is work on the theme of this project, started the 4th novrmber 2008 and ending in june /  july 2009 : Intercultural Dialogue through Arts

After this meeting in march there will be the traning course for social performer in Italy and then a youth conference to get closer day by day to the biggest event of this festival. But I don’t want to spoil you the surprise, so if you want to know it..just continue to follow us!

This Festival is something really new for Asti and ( I’m not completely sure, but almost) for Europe, it’s a big attempt to create something really Intercultural, something in which different arts, cultures are the way to achieve something completely new.

The most beatiful part of this festival is that is built day by day with the desire to create bridges where they weren’t, the only way we know to give our effort to improve ourselves and our society.

We’ll keep you informed on the continuation of this process and from this weekend on, also the partner will start to use this blog!

Cooperativa Vedogiovane Asti and webradio Radio Dietro in Asti are making something fantastic.
In March youngsters from different European countries will meet in Asti for 9 days exchange to have a dialogue on media and communication, youth informations.
Boys and girls will come together from web radios from Germany, Hungary and Romenia, obviosuly also from Italy to share work experience and methodies of work in  WEBRADIO`s. And of course – gain some new skills.
So this youth exchange could succeed the  pre departure training will take place in Asti this week end 20.02.09-22.02.09. Each countries group leaders will meet to prepare for exchange.

15th of february at h 21,00 the next event of the festival will take place in Asti in “Casa del Popolo”.

The main themes of the evening will be cinema , music , reading and solidarity.

There will be the presentation of two videos made in Africa.

The first is about the experience of a group of youngsters in Malawi that are working against A.I.D.S.

The second one was made by Cristina Toscano during her journey in Uganda.

The two videos will be animated by the music of a prog-metal group “The Mind light”.

There will also be reading of what the cinema represents personnally for the people .

We are looking for this event with a lot of things to do.

In the tenth anniversary of the death of Fabrizio De Andrè, Radio Dietro dedicates an evening to the man that gave a new meaning to the word songwriter in Italy.

During the event Astesan musician will play song of Faber telling how he’s so important for the italian music and especially for us.

Radio Dietro is also partner in a big initiative, that includes all the italian Radios and at the 22,50 we will stream the song “Amore che vieni,amore che vai” . This initiative is promoted by “Che tempo che fa”, a television program on the national channels.

The 13th of december the Radio Attivi project had a magnificient evening in Casa DIetro, with the participation of Benno from Germany, Didi from Savona and Alessandro e Neva from Asti.

In the evening the radio presented itself, its programs and speakers, through live music and art.

There were moments of poetry, National Constitution reading, games and theatre; during the evening the Radio was in connection with the partners of the project: Rob Ears from Germany, Radio9 from Hungary and Helder from Portugal.

Radio Dietro sent their reporter, Niccolò and Elisa to Germany and to Hungary; they were the special guest in the partner’s web Radio.

The evening was successful and Alessandro and Neva made for the radio the beautiful painting you see on the bottom of the page, representing the evening.

The collaboration among partners will continue and we’ll keep you informed.
